Audit

In statutory auditing, the company’s bookkeeping, financial statements and administration for the financial period are audited. The parent company’s auditor also audits the consolidated financial statements. The auditor gives the company’s shareholders an audit report as required by law together with the company’s annual financial statements, and regularly reports his/her observations to the Board of Directors. Kamux’s financial period is the calendar year.

According to the company’s Articles of Association, the auditor must be an auditing organisation approved by the Central Chamber of Commerce. The company’s auditor is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting for a term that ends at the end of the next Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting on April 20, 2023 elected APA-accredited PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy as its auditing company. PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy has informed that Authorized Public Accountant Mr. Markku Launis will act as the principal auditor.

In 2022, the auditors were paid a total of EUR 213,000 for the auditing services. A total of EUR 26,000 was paid for other advisory services unrelated to auditing. The other advisory services mainly concerned financial consultation pertaining to, for instance, sustainability reporting and direct and indirect taxes.
